Supporting and Promoting Community Health

The Tule River public health department works to promote and support community health, working alongside our healthcare colleagues.

Our Projects

We have several projects. We developed a community health assessment to look at health issues and priorities in the community. We are now working with the Healthy Tule River Coalition to identify key health measures to assess progress. We offer support for sexually transmitted infections, ensuring community members who are diagnosed get the appropriate treatment. We hope to have a new tobacco cessation program and a new maternal and child home visiting program running soon.
